Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about hiring track mats from Coastal Trackmats.
Our heavy-duty mats are engineered for the toughest conditions, supporting loads up to 60 tonnes (static and rolling). They are ideal for excavators, cranes, and heavy transport trucks. Load capacity is subject to ground stability and sub-grade quality.
We keep it simple and transparent: $15 per mat, per week. We don't believe in complex sliding scales or hidden admin fees.
Unlike national hire chains, we do not charge automatic cleaning fees. We only apply a simple $3.00 fee per mat if they are returned in an excessively dirty condition.
The Titan-Series system is engineered to perform across virtually all ground conditions — from soft clay and waterlogged sites to sandy soils and uneven terrain. The interlocking panel design distributes loads evenly, preventing point-loading and allowing heavy equipment to traverse surfaces that would otherwise be inaccessible.
We maintain deployment readiness across South-East QLD and Northern NSW with 24-hour mobilisation capability for urgent requirements. Rural and remote delivery is also available — contact us for a quote. Standard mobilisation is typically arranged within 48-72 hours. Our team will coordinate delivery timing to align with your project schedule.
Yes. The Titan-Series is specifically designed to accommodate tracked vehicles including excavators, dozers, and drilling rigs. The anti-slip diamond tread surface provides excellent grip for steel tracks, and the monolithic interlocking system prevents panel separation under high-torque manoeuvres.
Individual panels can be quickly swapped out without disrupting the entire access road. We maintain spare panel inventory for rapid replacement. The modular design means a single damaged panel doesn't compromise the integrity of the roadway — simply unlock, remove, and replace.
Yes. Coastal Trackmats has successfully completed over 15 major Film and TV projects. We have worked on very large-scale productions across SEQ, providing reliable site access for heavy production vehicles and unit bases.
Specifically for events and filming, our mats prevent turf damage and soil compaction. This is vital for maintaining good relationships with councils and private landowners when moving large movie trucks across sensitive grass or heritage areas.
Absolutely. Our non-porous HDPE mats prevent sub-soil pumping and contamination. They can be lifted and removed with zero trace, no remediation required, and no gravel disposal costs. This makes them ideal for council parks, heritage sites, and environmentally sensitive areas.
